LOL!! I somehow feel its not really true, but How would I know. This test can really be confirmed by the people around me, am I like this yall?
Today..
Today
was inspirational, however not from church service (I'm not saying service was bad!!) but from the words of the people around me.
Firstly, there was Cell group meeting where Liwei talked about "What happens/would you do when your world caves in". When she mentioned about what if you received a phone call and it was not music to your ears but news you'd never think you'd hear. My mind went into an instant flashback the moment she mentioned world caving in and phone call. Went back to the time when it was 3 am, and my HP rang. A nurse from the hospital my mum was in called to tell me my mum had passed away. At the moment, I really didn't know what to do. My world just turned silent and dark. After that, events that followed weren't really controlled by me. Cause my world just stopped. The inspiration came when she talked about the 4 things to do when things like this happened. It was because, where I am now, arose after I did the 4 things.
1. Fresh revelation of Jesus.
- When Vincent asked me to go for service, I could feel a higher presence pulling me, telling me to come back to Christ from whence I left.
2. Hearing God's Voice.
-I literally heard HIM. This is what HE said "Listen, Listen to my word." These words alone turned my world right side up. Never have I heard HIS words before, it was magical. I swore it was not someone playing a prank on me cause it was in my head. I wasn't imagining, wasn't hearing, and it seemed the words were said from my heart to my ears. Since Liwei told us to testify our encounters with God, this is my first! (:
3. Faith in Jesus Works on the cross.
- After applying Jesus's ways into my life, I feel that a change has set forth, a change that has made me take everything in positively, and my life gets better gradually.
4. Step out again!
-Lastly, I cannot brood over world ending events! So stepping out again, into the world to rediscover my self made me feel greatly refreshed.
So friends, whenever you're hit by something unfortunate, always remember that you're not alone, if its not God or Jesus that helps you, your friends and family are there for you. Suicide is not the way if that has ever breached any of your minds, cause I've experienced trying that, it does not bring the pain away, but causes you to flash through life, inflicting more pain not only to yourself, but to others that hold you close to your hearts.
Lastly, my second inspiration came from Jia Hui, she's only 15, and a single 20 min chat lead me to realise how choices can affect a life's direction and how much the human soul can endure and take up. At only 15, her experience in leadership and her fight for her studies brings the utmost admiration and respect from me. Holding a prefectorial position, a church ministry position and a cell group position, plus coping with Sec 3 studies is quite a feat. As we chatted, I could only imagine myself with all these responsibilities, I would only drown and burn out. But for her, its her human spirit in one harmony with Christ that held her high. Truly a learning point. Finally, choices can affect a person's direction, this was told to me by her, as she told me her calling. Which brought me to reality, what happened if I chose correctly, would I have done better in my studies? Would I have made a better choice for a course? Would I even had made it to poly? Definitely, think 1st and make a choice at your own pace. Cause every decision you make can break or glorify your life.
