Dear Headphones,

Aights' here's my 1st post after that so long a period from blogging.. & back by popular demand from people who still want me to blog. Hello all you people who know me!!! Let's get on with the show!

This Blog

This blog is a new revamped blog which will showcase the whole and improved/new lifestyle of yours truly. Simply put, I've enough of only blogging cause I've to say something bout something. Thus the inversed colours. So that people know and stop asking me, I LIKE BLACK AND WHITE! The headphones on the skin show the love for music and of course, its any type of music. Finally, this is my 1st blog I've created that I've done most of the editing on my own and with lil help from blogskin.com (: Nuff said.

Life

How many of you have experienced events that make your life suck and you'll give anything to change it? I have. I'm not talking bout changing your looks, changing your habits, but changing the way you live life and your personality. I go by the way "This is me, this is my attitude, like it? Be my friend, Don't like it, Don't get in my way." This is will not change. How many of you like it when people want you to be what they want you to be? Not many yea? Why bend for others just to mix in? I believe that you'll gradually fit in, with others. Events that happen can change you, people happen? I don't think so. So think about it today, you change yourself, don't let others change you, cause that way, you're happier.

Why do I look at it this way? That's because, 1. I've enough of people telling me you're fat, get exercise, you're arrogant, change it, you're like a know it all, know less. 2. God, Christ & The Holy spirit.

If I needed someone to tell me I'm fat, I'll ask. I don't really need to know what I already know. If my attitude irks you, don't mix with me, I can guarantee you 100% I can find another person to mix with. I'm not being a hypocrite, but don't you think its easier that all people are happy mixing with people who can click?

I talk about change, cause when you're born into this world, don't you all agree that unless you've hit a rough spot, you'll say you'll change and in the end you bang a wall, the rough spot happens again and you'll ask "why?" You can give all the excuses in the world, in the end, the right answer to it is, you don't know what to change. Either that, Or you've not hit a rough spot and your life is a bed of roses, congrats you're a perfect soul. I can tell you now, no one is a perfect soul. Which brings me to why Christianity is the way I chose to aid me in the right direction.

1. It will be my 1st step towards finally acknowledging a religion.
2. I want to really change the way I live, and Christ is the way of life.
3. The way Christ depicts his own life, gives life more meaning.
4. Provides a direction to understand and to move out of "rough spots".
5. Lastly, I've heard what HE has said to me.

This is why. You think about it yourself.

Does it really matter? I mean, the purpose why we're in church, is to worship & praise God and to learn from Christ. Its has occured to me that many are sceptical about what church to join. If that's you, please don't join any church at all. Sorry to be crude but it only means you're there cause you think its cool, hip or you don't care what God is. What I mean by sceptical is that whenever people hear I'm from City Harvest, they say "Why you join that church? They are so........." Let me tell you something, all churches are the same, the creation of a church is so that a place can be used to worship God. Not to have fun and party all day. The people in the church are there to save the people they care for, not some marketing scheme to get you to join and spend money, we really don't need your money. I'm there like the many who have given their soul to be there, to worship God. So after all this, I'm proud to be in City Harvest, so take your comments and throw them out the window along with yourselves. After you're out the window, you can get back to your lives and continue to bang the same wall again.

Music

When asked a question, what type of music do you like? Many give the answer, "Oh, Anything." My dear friend, greeks invented the word "genre" for a reason. Why do I say this? Its because, I get these type of answers and when they hear some tunes, I get answers like " EEEW, TECHNO I DON'T LIKE" -_-"

Its not your fault when you're not an audiophile like me, someone who loves all types of music. My love for music has grown ever since I first heard tunes in primary 3. My thought? All music types are the same, be it alternative, trance and punk. The same because all of them have a soul, don't believe me? Play a song and close your eyes, listen to what the beats and lyrics are. Figure out the body and soul and you'll know what I mean.

I've recently started trying to play instruments after so long. I finally got my guitar!!! After this, I'll be learning the keyboard once exams are over. What bout my guitar? I'll self learn it, I believe that my love for music will take me far. After all, its been a huge part of my life. Depicting every moment.

To all poly students and secondary students taking their exams in a week or two, GOOD LUCK YALL! I'm praying so hard for the strength to un-procrastinate myself and turn that procrastination into motivation! Lets all do that!

Announcements

City Harvest is having their 2 weeks of prayer from the 11th of August onwards. This is where everyone gets to have a good prayer session and converse with the Lord most high before starting the day. Its a good experience to have, anyone interested can make a trip to the Heart of God church @ Paya Lebar or City Harvest Church @ Jurong. or Anyone can ask me to take you along, I'll be going down for most of the days.

As you all have seen, my new blog will no longer depict too much of my life, but my thoughts as well. If I've offended anyone in this blog, don't bother to tell me. I don't really care and it'll make you look childish.
